DisplayUbunutu and gdm/kdm I decided at some stage to chose kdm as the display manager when I installed the Kubuntu desktop. I wanted to go back to gdm and it took a while to find out how to fix it. It's really simple when you know how though. All you do is type dpkg-reconfigure gdm and then choose gdm and it's all fixed. :-) Great when things work!! |
