Keith

I joined the DunLUG back when the meetings were at Shooters bar; I generally couldn't make it to the meetings because of prior commitments.

Initially I learned of the existance of the LUG because I was using Black Albatross as my ISP, and Drew? kept having to fix my mailbox because the BA mail server had broken locking. Since most of my mail then (as now) was from the linux-kernel mailing list, he told me about the LUG. Several months later, I actually managed to make it to a meeting...

I've been using Linux since at least 1996, and switched completely to it in 1998. I started out with Slackware (not sure which version), upgraded to Slackware 3.6 sometime later, and upgraded that from upstream source for several years. In mid-2004 I switched to Debian. Despite Joe?'s suggestions, I've resisted moving to Ubuntu.
